Pastor Tim Shawyer
Lead Pastor
Pastor Tim was born in Hagerstown, MD, the son of a Church of God pastor. After graduating high school in Kentucky, he attended Lee College and pursued a degree in Pre-Med with a minor in Bible & Theology. After completing college, he spent two years as a Youth Pastor in Chicago, IL, and then another two and a half years as the Youth & Children's Pastor at the Sinclair Lane Church of God in Baltimore, MD. He married Sandra in July 1982, and together they began their first pastorate in August 1982 at the Viers Mill Church of God in Maryland. Following God's leading, in July 1997, he became the Lead Pastor of Walker Memorial. He holds the rank of Ordained Bishop in the Church of God. He has served on the Delmarva-DC State Youth Board (1992-1996, 2002-2006), the State Evangelism Board (2006-2010), and is presently on the State Council. Pastor Tim and Sandra have two children, Ryan, who along with his wife April, serve as Pastors of Student Ministries here at Walker Memorial, and Holly, a graduate of Lee University who is a third grade teacher in Wicomico County. They welcomed their first grandchild, Gavin, in February 2013.
Pastor Ryan Shawyer (April)
Student & Young Adult Pastor
Pastor Ryan is a graduate of Lee University with a Bachelor of Music Education and a minor in Bible & Theology. He also completed graduate studies in Church Music and Youth & Family Ministries. Pastor Ryan was born in Olney, MD. After college, he spent four and a half years on staff at the Hopewell Church of God in Cleveland, TN, serving as Student Ministries Pastor. He joined the staff of Walker Memorial in March 2010 as Student Pastor. Pastor Ryan holds the rank of Ordained Minister in the Church of God. He is presently on the Delmarva-DC Regional Music Board, serves as a worship leader for Delmarva-DC State Campmeeting and is actively involved in state youth ministry. His wife, April, is from Monroe, MI. April is a graduate of Lee University with a Bachelor of Music Education and a minor in Psychology. She is also a graduate of the Pentecostal Theological Seminary with a Masters of Counseling. April is an elementary music teacher in Wicomico County. Pastor Ryan and April were married in June 2007. They have one child, a son, Gavin, born in February 2013.

Pastor Dwayne Walker (Connie)
Children's Pastor
Pastor Dwayne was born in Tacoma Park, MD, and raised in Maryland City, MD. Connie was born and raised in Odenton, MD. After several years as a professional actor, Pastor Dwayne was called to full-time ministry. He and Connie were married in January of 1989, and began full-time ministry together at the Harvest Church of God in Edgewater, MD. After serving for eight years as Youth Pastor at Harvest, Pastor Dwayne moved to Mt. Union, PA, where he served as Youth & Children's Pastor at the New Life Church of God for eight years. They joined the staff of Walker Memorial in January 2007. Pastor Dwayne holds the rank of Ordained Minister in the Church of God. He has served on the Pennsylvania State Youth Board and is currently on the Premier Kidsfest Steering Committee. He has led Kid's Krusades in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland, as well as the 2001-2006 Pennsylvania State Campmeeting Kid's Church. Pastor Dwayne and Connie have four children: Nick, Sarah, Jennifer, and Matt.
Pastor Sandra Shawyer
Worship Pastor
Sandra is a graduate of Lee College with a Bachelor of Music Education. She has also completed graduate work in music at the University of Maryland in College Park. While at Lee, she served as the Student Director of the Ladies of Lee. After college, she spent four years as the Music Pastor at the Williamsport Church of God in Williamsport, MD. She married Pastor Tim in July 1982, and has since served faithfully alongside him in ministry. She served as the Minister of Music of the Viers Mill Church of God from 1982-1997, and has served as the Pastor of Music & Fine Arts of Walker Memorial since September of 1997. She holds the rank of Ordained Minister in the Church of God. She is actively involved in state music ministry, serving as a pianist and worship leader at Delmarva-DC campmeetings and state conferences. In addition to her duties at Walker Memorial, she has been the elementary music teacher at Salisbury Christian School in Salisbury, MD, since 1997.
